Energy savings for hotels
A hotel uses energy around the clock: air conditioning, ventilation, lifts, the kitchen, the laundry and the spa. We cut consumption without touching guest comfort: we optimise voltage, compensate reactive power and write the saving into the contract.
Energy challenges in the sector
Systems that run around the clock
Air conditioning, ventilation, lighting and lifts run whatever the occupancy, so energy costs are hard to cut by changing routines alone.
Guest comfort comes first
Saving energy cannot mean cooler rooms or dimmer light. Voltage optimisation works in the switch room, with no change in the rooms.
More and more electronics
LED lighting, drives and IT change the nature of the load and the power quality, which is worth measuring before choosing a solution.
Measured results
Measured energy savings at hotels and spas running the technology we offer:
Grand Hotel della Posta
11.8% energy saving
Atlantic Terme Natural Spa
10.4% energy saving
Mercure Hotel Milan
9.5% energy saving
Hilton Hotels
6.9% energy saving
In Poland we work with Hotelowa Grupa Zakupowa, a hotel purchasing group.
Frequently asked questions
Does voltage optimisation affect guest comfort?
No. The unit stabilises the voltage in the switch room, and air conditioning, lighting and in-room equipment work as before. The only difference is that they stop wasting energy on excess voltage.
Will a hotel with LED lighting still save?
Less than before the retrofit, because LEDs regulate their own power. The saving then comes mainly from fans, pumps, compressors and older fittings. We measure the voltage and the load mix before making an offer.
How much can a hotel save?
We guarantee 5–9% of active energy in the contract. At the hotels listed above, measured savings ranged from 6.9% to 11.8%.
