How ICO-F Technology Works
ICO-F is Icopower's range for reducing Customer's grid losses (energy paid for but dissipated by the system). Grid losses are strongly influenced by excess voltage fluctuations from the grid. ICO-F is a next-generation voltage optimizer system, covered by several international patents.
Thanks to an innovative technology, we can contractually guarantee the reduction of energy waste generated by surges in the power grids. The models in the ICO-F line also make it possible to eliminate voltage spikes within systems, resulting in a longer life of the system components themselves.

How much can voltage optimisation reduce our electricity bill?
The contractually guaranteed saving is 5-9% of active energy consumption, calculated with the German VDE-AR-E 2055-1:2009 standard. Documented installations range from 6.3% in the steel industry to 10% in sterile food production.
How are the savings measured and verified?
Measurement follows the IPMVP protocol (Option A or Option B) together with the VDE-AR-E 2055-1:2009 formula, which compares active power before and after optimisation and is therefore independent of production volume. Consumption is monitored in real time through Schneider Electric Power Monitoring Expert, and the methodology was scientifically validated by the University of Trento.
What happens if the guaranteed savings are not achieved?
The savings are contractual. If the measured result falls short of the agreed target, Enthrust Energy pays the difference, so the project carries no financial risk for the client.
What is the payback period on an Icopower installation?
Typical payback is 2 to 4 years. In documented projects it ranged from 2.2 years in food production to 2.8 years in the steel industry. Installations often qualify for White Certificates and external financing.
Which Icopower systems does Enthrust Energy install?
ICO-F stabilises the supply voltage and is the core energy-saving unit. ICO-M bridges micro-interruptions in under 5 ms using supercapacitors instead of batteries. ICO-R corrects the power factor and removes reactive power penalties. ICO-FA filters harmonics from the 2nd to the 50th order.
